Crew Packs — Your Vessel, Your Crew

Your Vessel. Your Crew. One Order.

Matching embroidered uniforms for the whole boat — your logo, your crew list, your colors — kitted per person and shipped as one coordinated order.

No scavenger hunt across five vendors. No mismatched polos. No new hand showing up in whatever he grabbed at the mall. Send us the roster once, and your crew walks down the dock looking like a crew.

How It Works — 4 Steps

1. Pick your colors
Choose your garments and colors — black, navy, white, and more across the line. Most boats pick one look and stick with it: it becomes your boat's identity.

2. Send your logo
Send your company or vessel logo (vector files work best — AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF; a clean high-resolution PNG works too). We digitize it for embroidery and place it on the left chest. One logo setup per design: $35–75, waived on orders of 10+ persons or $500+.

3. Send your crew roster
Names, billets, garments, sizes — that's the whole ask. Use our downloadable roster template (CSV — opens in Excel or Google Sheets), fill a row per crew member, and send it back. Per-person names and vessel names go on garments where the design supports it.

4. Get one coordinated order
Every garment is embroidered, checked against the roster, and kitted per person — so when the box opens, each hand pulls out his shirts, in his size, with his name and billet. One order, one shipment, whole crew dressed.

What's Included

  • Embroidered rank polos — Captain, Chief Mate, Chief Engineer, Second Mate, Bosun, and the rest of the billet list, in your crew-pack colors.
  • Performance sun shirts — long-sleeve deck shirts with QUARTERDECK UNIFORMS or your vessel name across the back.
  • Caps — the Quarterdeck Anchor Cap, ready for the whole crew.
  • Per-person names — crew member name embroidered or printed on their garments, per the roster.
  • Vessel name on backs — where the garment supports it (sun shirts and crew tees take a full back print; that's how the boat gets identified from across the deck).
  • Your logo on the chest — company or vessel mark, digitized once and kept on file for every reorder.

Officer epaulette shirts in the catalog carry printed shoulder boards as part of an all-over printed design — they are not separate physical boards or embroidered attachments, and the product pages say so plainly.

The Digital Size Record — Reorders Are One Email

Here's the part that saves you forever: we keep your crew's size record on file.

Every roster you send becomes your boat's standing record — who sails as what, what garment, what size, what name goes on it. After that:

  • Reorders are one email: "Same as last time, plus two more Large Bosun polos."
  • New-hand kits are one email: "New AB starting Monday — J. Rivera, Large." We kit him to match the crew he hasn't met yet.
  • Promotions are one email: when your Second Mate makes Chief Mate, his new shirts carry the new billet — the record updates with him.

No re-measuring, no re-typing the roster, no starting over every season. Your crew list stays confidential — it's used to fill your orders and nothing else.

Minimums & Pricing — Straight Talk

  • 5-person minimum per crew pack. Smaller than that, order the individual products straight off the store — same garments, same embroidery.
  • Per-person kit pricing. We quote your pack as a price per crew member for the kit you choose (for example: 2 polos + 1 sun shirt + 1 cap per person), so you can budget per head instead of decoding a garment-by-garment invoice.
  • Logo setup $35–75 per design, one time — waived at 10+ persons or $500+ orders. The digitized logo stays on file; you never pay setup twice for the same mark.
  • First orders: prepaid, or 50% deposit with the balance due before shipping. Established accounts (after a second completed order) can qualify for Net 30 terms.
  • LAUNCH10 still applies to standard store products if you're topping up between packs.

Send the roster and we'll return a one-page quote with the per-person price and the total. No obligation, no sales call unless you ask for one.

Buy vs. Rent — Run the Math

Uniform rental looks cheap per week. It isn't, per year. Approximate industry figures:

Rent Own (Quarterdeck crew pack)
Weekly cost per employee ~$4–15/week —
Annual cost per employee ~$520–780/yr, before setup fees One purchase; garments typically serve multiple seasons
Setup / program fees Commonly $50–120 per employee on top $35–75 per logo design, waived at 10+ persons or $500+
Annual increases ~5%/yr is typical in rental contracts None — you reorder at store prices when you choose
Year 3–4 cost per person Roughly $750–1,000 cumulative and climbing Replacements only, as garments actually wear out
The garments Theirs — returned when the contract ends Yours — your logo, your size record, your call

Rental figures are approximate industry numbers, not a quote from any specific rental company — but the shape of the math is the same everywhere: weekly fees never stop, and ownership does.

Built for Your Fleet

Yachts — Crisp matched polos and caps that read instantly in the marina: guests know who's in charge, and the crew photographs like one team. Captain through Chief Stew, deck to interior.

Tugs & Commercial — Dark, rugged, replaceable. Rank polos for the wheelhouse and office days, work tees and sun shirts for deck work. One clean polo in the sea bag for meeting the office, the Coast Guard, or a customer.

Offshore & Workboats — Long days under a hard sun. Long-sleeve performance shirts with the vessel name across the back, rank polos for the officers, caps for everyone. Kits built per hitch rotation.

U.S. River Fleets — Built around the 28-day hitch: enough shirts per hand to get through 6-on/6-off without laundry math at day ten. Ask about a full-hitch kit per crew member.

Maritime Academies & Cadets — Squared-away gear for sea year and graduation: rank polos, caps, and "first stripes" pieces families actually want to gift. Alumni polos for the ones who've earned the bars.

FAQ

How long does a crew pack take?
Everything is made to order — embroidered after you approve the quote and roster — so crew packs are not off-the-shelf shipping. We'll give you the current production window with your quote and hold to it. If a date matters (crew change, season start, graduation), tell us up front and we'll tell you honestly whether we can make it.

What logo files do you need?
Vector is best: AI, EPS, SVG, or PDF. A high-resolution PNG with a transparent background also works. If all you have is a photo of the logo on a shirt, send it — we'll tell you what it takes to digitize it before you pay anything.

How do reorders work?
One email. Your size record and logo are on file, so "same again" plus any changes is all we need. New hand, new billet, lost shirt — handled the same way.

What's the return policy on personalized goods?
Plainly: personalized and embroidered-to-roster garments are made for your crew, so there's no change-of-mind returns on them. If we make an error — wrong name, wrong size versus the roster, wrong garment — or a garment arrives with a defect, we remake or refund it. That one's on us, every time. Non-personalized store products follow the store's standard returns policy.

Can you do our exact company colors / a garment that's not listed?
Ask. The catalog grows by crew request — if a billet or garment isn't listed, tell us what you need and we'll tell you straight whether we can build it.

Do you offer FR or rated safety gear in crew packs?
Not yet, and we won't pretend otherwise. When genuinely certified garments with documented ratings join the catalog, they'll be labeled with the certification they actually carry — nothing before then.
